Magic Arena Theme

Hi every one.

I finally come back for a long time, and bring to all of us this Theme, based on the PC game: Magic The Gathering Arena.

New Features:
  • Music.
  • Backgrounds.
  • Trophies.
  • Modes.
  • and Stuff.
About the Music

Thanks Vitty85 to program and configure all .dll files and Wagic.exe to hear all the themes.

All songs have the following:

1.- High Quality Mp3 Format of 320 kbps.
2.- Fading Effect of 10 seconds for all songs and 30 seconds for battlefield songs that increase the volumen from silence to sound.
3.- High and Low Boosters (You can hear the strings and flutes more clear. Also the Bass, Trumpets and Beats sounds more epic.)
4.- Compressor and Normalizer Effects.
5.- Booster Stereo Effect. (Use Headphones.)
6.- Doesn't have any meta-data information.
7.- Standar Volumen. (In the audio options of the Game, even when you put at MAX volumen the music, it doen's sound higher, your can play in peace without any harm to your hears.)

This is High Quality Audio Work for you, Wagic Team and players.

(For equalize your volumen device, wait until the fading effect ends.)

NEW AVATARS

All Images of the game (Tropies, Avatars, Backgrounds on Battlefiled, Screens, Choosing decks, Deck Editor, Shop, etc) have the following mods:

1.- Layer of Light and dark.
2.- Layer of Grey and white.
3.- Layer of color intensity.
4.- Layer of saturation balanced.
5.- High resolution (Backgrounds and some Trophies)
6.- Layer of Blur (Background on deck Editor, Options and Trophie Room)
7.- Avatars have all the previous features except Blur.
8.- Life Points on Opponents Avatars don't hide the Face of the opponent.

The NEW Avatars for opponents have relation with a relevant card of that deck, color or name.

Testing the NEW Proliferate code:

Actually the Proliferate Code from Vitty85 doesn't let you choose enchantments, lands, players or artifacts.
Now this code does.

Code: Select all

name(Proliferate) NotATarget(<anyamount>*[counter{any}]) duplicatecounters(single)
And if the card says proliferate twice, just put this symbol: "&&"

It must read like this: "name(Proliferate) NotATarget(<anyamount>*[counter{any}]) duplicatecounters(single) && name(Proliferate) NotATarget(<anyamount>*[counter{any}]) duplicatecounters(single)" this is for example with "Contagion Engine"

This Set have the correct orden chronologicaly of all sets. For other developers, make sure the game have the same order.

Hi,

Ok for theme, thanks but please upload a zip file or it will be impossible to download it for who doesn't have a premium account... For this reason in my usual post i added a link to your theme in a zip archive...

About proliferate there was a problem, you are right, but with your version you cannot target player...also duplicateallcounters(single) is not working fine when the target has different kind of counters since it let you choose which you want to increment and this is not correct for mtg rules, so this is definitively wrong...

The bug was also in wagic engine, in new release i fixed the EXE and i updated the macro and the primitives like this:
#AUTO_DEFINE _PROLIFERATE_ name(Proliferate) notatarget(<anyamount>player,permanent) proliferate

You can download it again from usual post.

Yes, there are many audios, and the tracks are not with the consecutive "Track2, track3, track ..."

Hope you can help me name the files to use all of them.

Those that correspond to specific game areas do not need multiple versions.

The Main Menu and the battlefield are varied, those should change as you enter or exit that screen.

Can you help me get the game to read all the files and make the respective changes? please

This will make game incredible heavy.... and also you are spending few secs in a lot of screen areas... not logical in my opinion...

I understand my friend. But the game its already incredible heavy only for the images of the game and it continues growing in the future by new sets of the game.

If it is inevitable the huge weight in the future of the game, I just want to give to all players the luxury of new sounds too.

About the fading between one song and another, if its complicated, doesn't matter, but new songs when you return to the main menu and battlefield, will be awesome as the new sets too.

The name of the files says where must be played in the game,
Music for shop, options, trophie room, deck editor, choosing decks, are one single song.

But main menu and battlefield, will be a lot more, played randomly each time the player enter to that screen of the game.

I implemented new possibilities for sound tracks in this way:

Inside the "sound" folder of your ARENA theme you have to put the following files:

Track0.mp3 -> Main Menu (default, but not the only one)
Track1.mp3 -> Deck Editor
Track2.mp3 -> Shop (if not existing it will be used Track0.mp3) -> Your file is empty, maybe you made a mistake?
Track3.mp3 -> Options Page (if not existing it will be used Track0.mp3)
Track4.mp3 -> Trophies Room (if not existing it will be used Track0.mp3)
ai_baka_music.mp3 -> Battlefield (default but not the only one)

Also, if you want, you can also add a specific sound track for each AI deck as follows:
ai_baka_music1.mp3 -> Battlefield (for deck1.txt)
ai_baka_music2.mp3 -> Battlefield (for deck2.txt)
....
ai_baka_music100.mp3 -> Battlefield (for deck100.txt)

Finally, as you asked, inside the sound folder of the theme you can add these 2 sub-folders:
MainMenu
Battlefield

Inside these 2 sub-folders you have to add all the tracks for random play as follows (up to 10 tracks for each folder):

MainMenu folder:
TrackMenu0.mp3
TrackMenu1.mp3
....
TrackMenu9.mp3

Battlefield folder:
TrackDuel0.mp3
TrackDuel1.mp3
...
TrackDuel9.mp3

When the game will find these folders with those file it will play randomly a song among them (if they are not present game will use the default files Track0.mp3 for Main Menu and ai_baka_music.mp3 for battlefield duel.

All tracks has to be mp3 without any META-TAG information (e.g. author, album, genre) or the game will have trouble to play them (especially in older devices), so you should a bit work on the sound tracks you shared in your post in order to rename and convert all of them in the way i suggested you.

I hope i explained myself well, i already updated the game executable in my usual post and on GITHUB, but you have to fix the sound tracks to complete the work and have the desired effect.

I understand my friend. But the game its already incredible heavy only for the images of the game and it continues growing in the future by new sets of the game.

If it is inevitable the huge weight in the future of the game, I just want to give to all players the luxury of new sounds too.

About the fading between one song and another, if its complicated, doesn't matter, but new songs when you return to the main menu and battlefield, will be awesome as the new sets too.

The name of the files says where must be played in the game,
Music for shop, options, trophie room, deck editor, choosing decks, are one single song.

But main menu and battlefield, will be a lot more, played randomly each time the player enter to that screen of the game.

PD: Recently I see the format of all songs in the file, many of them are Mp3 or M4a, if you help all of us to enjoy the sounds of the game, I can transform all formats into.WAV. What do you say? I implemented new possibilities for sound tracks in this way:

Inside the "sound" folder of your ARENA theme you have to put the following files:

Track0.mp3 -> Main Menu (default, but not the only one)
Track1.mp3 -> Deck Editor
Track2.mp3 -> Shop (if not existing it will be used Track0.mp3) -> Your file is empty, maybe you made a mistake?
Track3.mp3 -> Options Page (if not existing it will be used Track0.mp3)
Track4.mp3 -> Trophies Room (if not existing it will be used Track0.mp3)
ai_baka_music.mp3 -> Battlefield (default but not the only one)

Also, if you want, you can also add a specific sound track for each AI deck as follows:
ai_baka_music1.mp3 -> Battlefield (for deck1.txt)
ai_baka_music2.mp3 -> Battlefield (for deck2.txt)
....
ai_baka_music100.mp3 -> Battlefield (for deck100.txt)

Finally, as you asked, inside the sound folder of the theme you can add these 2 sub-folders:
MainMenu
Battlefield

Inside these 2 sub-folders you have to add all the tracks for random play as follows (up to 10 tracks for each folder):

MainMenu folder:
TrackMenu0.mp3
TrackMenu1.mp3
....
TrackMenu9.mp3

Battlefield folder:
TrackDuel0.mp3
TrackDuel1.mp3
...
TrackDuel9.mp3

Only the two of us keep the game on road.

I create and masterized all audios with special features.

If you keep creating something new to the game with your awesome power of coding, I'll do the same with graphics, sound and stuff.

Actually you can put up to 20 tracks in both mainmenu and battlefield subfolder, I wrote 10 but it was 20!

I will download the new sounds as soon as possible ant try them.
