Re: More parsers requested

To answer your question about my intent with the "random" effects, I did wish to use it in some cases to fill in the blank for the decision making of AI. Although I agree with you it ain't fair for the AI to have no control over its own decision process so I can understand the reason for not using s...

Re: More parsers requested

Sweet! I just never read about those keywords in the miki or never ran across them while reading through the mtg.txt file from v0140. Are they new since v0141?

Re: Path to Exile (Require Confirmation) -- by Nazar

That's what I was doing but I thought I needed to use only one of the card grade from the option menu like "Borderline", "Unofficial", "Crappy", "Unsupported" and "Dangerous" to lock/unlock my custom cards. Can I just name the file with any different name?

Re: Path to Exile (Require Confirmation) -- by Nazar

I can easily understand that decision. It's fair knowing they may make the game unbalanced and/or cause it to act in an unexpected manner. I use a lower grade (crappy) for such cards I create myself. That way I can keep them seperate from the official cards and to activte them only in odd circumstan...

Re: More parsers requested

Like wololo said, the coin flip is the most frequent and best example of the need for "randomness" as a feature. Since the "flip a coin" topic already existed and was limited to 50/50 probability between 2 options. I wanted to expand the discussion on the need for random choices as it already exists...

More parsers requested

Here are 3 requests/suggestions I would make for functions to be added. We need to add the randomness possibility to a selection. Restriction keyword "random" to be used along with other restrictions. In all 4 examples below, it is used as "AND RANDOM" along with another element of the code. example...

Re: Polls/Surveys

Wow! Thanks and please forgive me in advance for all my spelling mistakes. English ain't my first language. Indeed, the php FAQ mentions "How do I create a poll" when I search for "poll" spelled properly ;) and I hadn't notice the poll option under the new topic yet. I'll give it a shot this week. T...

Strategic reaction to cards

Some cards affect both players in a bad kind of way... like "Ankh of Mishra", "Armageddon Clock", "Blood Clock" to name only a few here. If the AI's deck is built to counter it or to manage/workaround it without any issue, then fine! In most case it isn't and it may not have what is required to coun...

Re: Path to Exile (Require Confirmation) -- by Nazar

Yes indeed! A token is needed in this case. Many official cards currently use them too, as Primeval Titan for example, which uses a token to fetch a land in the exact same manner. My understanding of the code especially on this subject is this one: The need for a token cannot be eliminated unless a ...
