xReader Image Resolution Limit

Post by Steven »

Just as the title says anyone know it? because i can't seem to find it.

I'm switching over to xReader since it can read my archive manga (.rar) pretty smoothly compared to PSPComic even at low clock speed doesn't matter if it's .JPG or .PNG plus it save me time from saving the images to a lower resolution my only concern is when i encountered a BSOD produced by xReader (not the BSOD that the PSP shows) so i suspect it might be because of the resolution being too large.

I do have the log if anyone wants to look at it.

I don't know the answer, but I do remember that the newer builds were more unstable than the old ones (at least with phat model). I would recommend trying 1.2.0-beta2 (rev996) which I personally have kept using due to stability. It can't show all the images, though, so I usually unzip and resize. As an alternative I have noticed that Pep-Viewer 0.8 is able to show a little bigger images. It won't support zip/rar formats sadly (the developer "vanished" before releasing an update), but comes with a nice zoom box feature that xReader lacks of.
