psp games performance/ fps

Post by laura90 »

Hi
i ve a question about the cfw on vita.
I didn't play some of psp games cuz the low fps stressed me xD, like ys seven or tom raider.

Do the psp games go better in ps vita or its the same?

And is it the same emulator if a purchase the psp games on ps store or if i run them free with the exploit?

With some things it a little bit worse than psp, its because its an emulator.
Still Live Area on background running.

The ECFW has more ram than PSP, it should be slightly better most of the time. Minus PS1 games ofc.
Does it quit? If not, then it's legit... Too legit.

Nvidia Shield Portable 48gb
Dreamcast: SEGA Sports - 80gb IDE HDD
4k PS3 Super Slim OFW 4.82
1k PSP: 6.60 ME-2.3
1K PSVita: Ensō 32GB - 64GB SD2VITA - 128GB PSVSD

It's kinda useless if you consider that every PSP game has to be within 32MB RAM limit, however the speed of RAM in Vita is much faster

I'm not exactly sure but Vita should be running native PSP code (so it wouldn't be classified as emulator at all) and might even have higher CPU clock speed than real PSP.

It is in fact a emulator, sort of like how PS1 has it's own emulator. As far as I understand, even the 32mb revisions of TN-V, have slightly more than 32mb to work with. Like you said, any PSP game will work with 32mb, but it should have slightly better performance. This was the reason Coldbird said he may be able to port Pro online. I for the life of me, can't find this post now. Either way, I would blame any ISO lag on bad compression, stay away from .CSO, or you can expect lag on some titles.
