Problem solved: Corrupted game

Post by leaf_vita »

I was transfering the neogeo emulator to my vita TN-V7.3 through ftp and suddenly the transfer has stopped, then I looked at my vita and 101 in 1 megamix has crashed, so, I tryed to start megamix again, but I received this message:

Cannot start this application.
You must download the application again from
[Download list] in [PS Store].
(C0-11136-2)

Then I tried to start my other game to test(king of pool), But I get the same message.

I think I made a backup a while ago, someone could answer if my backup will work?

Try to avoid using FTP as much as possible, just go and install back to your Vita, unless you didn't back it up to your pc using Open CMA.
Yes it would work assume you back it up properly.

WTF? Sony deleted my games?

Are you sure the chip isn't damaged, or that the filesystem isn't corrupted? If they actually did delete it, this could spell trouble for the hackers...

when you use FTP it corrupt the game that is why your getting that error. IF you really want to use FTP use Coldbird's FTP along with FlashFXP, fillzilla is known to corrupt the game data.

I was playing metal slug and GOW before that, I think my chip isn't damaged, I can access my fotos and video files and other games =(

(The one you took with OCMA right after installing your valuable exploited game).
you just suffered the QSP bug.
FTP doensn't always corrupt things, only if you don't configure it properly.
After reading Acid's new blog entry I have to say that the probability that the people that didn't properly configure his FTP also didn't make the OCMA backup is near 1.
But if you did configure ftp properly and it still crashed then just forgive me, I was trying to be funny :D

My backup is still there, I just selected the wrong option.
I'm trying to restore.

NP, good thing you had your backup.
Now you still may have to do some cleaning or moving (i.e. to recover saved games and stuff)

Coldbird wrote:1. if possible, use Filezilla.
2. go to FileZilla settings and change the maximum number of concurrent connections to 1, everything else will end up corrupting your files.
3. change default transfer mode to active
4. change default transfer behavior to binary

After you change those settings in FileZilla you will get speeds up to 2MB/s, no corrupted files and no broken io-actions anymore.
BTW there is an option in the recovery menu to fix the QSP bug and restore all your stuff

I would also like to add the this thread gave me a good lol
