How much battery do you think the NGP has?

How much battery life do you think the NGP will have?
Do you think it's going to be really bad like the 3ds's or do you think its gonna be somewhere around the psp's battery life?

I think Sony said somewhere that the battery LIFE is similar to the original PSP, so we are looking at 5 hours.

However that must mean the battery itself is **** huge and expensive :P

Will the battery be user replaceable?

Maybe, maybe not.

Likely, but I'm hoping sony will make it right with 5-8 hours at least. (at least it could then be considered portable, instead of always tethered with a wire to charge ;) )

The back touchpad looks like it can detatch, maybe it has one of those flat batteries.

Detach... You have a good point there. It kinda does look like it.

Of course i'd hope it would have a battery life at least an hour or two longer than current psp's,
but a battery life of 3-5 hours is likely with all of that hardware.

and from what i've read about the NGP, The back panel is completely enclosed,
meaning u can't just open it and take the battery out without getting all the screws undone.
sony said it had something to do with the rear touch panel being impossible to house in a casing which was similar to current psp's
It sure would be a hassle if you need to "hard restart" ur unit using the take out the battery method :D
