[v2.0] PSCRYPTER for PSP, sign EBOOTS from a PSP with OFW

Post by carlosgs »

Please refer to this thread for more information regarding the signing code: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1381

I have ported the sourcecode by "bbtgp" in that thread, to the PSP, so it can sign EBOOT's right from the PSP :D

The EBOOT signer itself can be signed and it works, so people with OFW can try to sign and test the EBOOT's they want.

I have mixed the crypter code by "bbtgp" and the unpack-pbp.c and pack-pbp.c from the SDK.

I have named it "PSCRYPTER" though that doesn't matter really.

Download SRC here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KOX764IR
Download normal EBOOT here: http://www.zshare.net/download/85378647227ebaa1/
Download SIGNED EBOOT here: http://www.zshare.net/download/85378735b82416c2/

Due to memory limits, i've set the maximum initial Eboot size to 2MB

I hope it is useful! (i don't deserve much credit -actually, I have no idea how the signing code works xD-, this is made with the work of the great coders in that thread, thank you!).

UPDATE: Version 2.0 with realocation fixer by JJS and 4MB eboot support:

Download SRC here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MDLVO5CR
Download normal EBOOT here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=F3UAJP0C
Download SIGNED EBOOT here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5CWJAJTE

It has worked with my MultiTasKing, which is quite complex, so I hope it works for your homebrew!

It works perfect, but it does take around 15-30 seconds to sign it.
Awesome homebrew.
Thumbs up!

This is an awesome release, carlosgs. Although you "only" ported code from bbtgp and JJS to work as homebrew it is very useful (and I mean VERY USEFUL). I already signed DaedalusX64 this way, thanks to the relocation fix from v2.0^^.

Same problem for me and version 2 "not a prx" error.

Didn't get that message on version 1 but saying that the files never booted correctly either.

got it to work use simple homebrew eboot files, (SoundEffectsv2, etc)
then it should unpack and sign the prx and repack it back into a eboot.

For those of you reporting the "not a prx" error, please make sure you are placing the file "./sign/EBOOT.PBP" with all the capital letters correctly.
I hope that's the problem xD
