Postby Julio1895 » Wed Jul 18, 2012 8:50 pm

Hi guys, I have a problem in my psp 3001 (3g). It happened months ago, I was running 6.60 LME 1.6 and then I tried to install "LightSpeed" :? , I'd like to know if I can do something to fix this problem because I wanna play again.
Here is a video:

thats what we like to call a semi-brick

can you get to the Recovery Menu ? because thats the only way to fix it
if you can get to it then I suggest you use HC Recovery flasher to install a clean OFW

I cant remember if LME will let you go to a recovery menu so sorry if this is of no use

Did you use the LightSpeed Final version? I would NOT recommend to use LightSpeed in version v1.6, cause this one war buggy and gave some users a semibrick.
I deleted the v1.6 from every mirror, so it should be gone, hopefully - Use the Final version, it is free of bugs.

Its like a full brick, afaik you cant get rid of it without changing the motherboard :(
Sorry that it bricked your PSP, i should be ashamed :(

@MrShyCity: HC Rec Flasher supports the 6.60, but not 88v3 or newer Boards (except the 90v1).

As the video shows, it still can manage to power on and displays but w/o menus (freezes and shuts down)

Sounds stupid but you may try this:

Power on PSP while press and holding

Square + Triangle + select + start buttons at the same time (HR)

Memory stick led light will flash a couple of times (if memory stick is inserted)

release buttons when the sony computer entertainment appears...

i dont know if it will fix it , but theres no harm of trying
