Tutorial: Manually Eject a Disc

Post by TonyPepperoni »

The images in this tutorial are not mine however I did word the tutorial to make it more simple, credits go to the original tutorial maker.
Also this is not an entry for the tutorial contest, I just thought it may help some users.

In this tutorial I will go through how to remove a stuck disc from your PS4.

Required:
• 1x PS4 with a disc stuck inside.
• A table/desk to work on.
• A “Phillips” screwdriver.
• A flash-light to see the eject screw.

Step 1: Turn off the PS4, remove all wires and place it on a flat surface

Step 2: Remove the glossy HDD cover.

Step 3: Locate the manual eject screw.

Image

Step 4: Turn the screw anti-clockwise (around 3-6 turns should do).

Step 5: When you see the disc, simply remove it with your hands.

Step 6: Put everything back together, Congratulations you’re done!

Power on your console and check that everything else is working fine, if your discs continue to get stuck contact your local Sony Customer Support line.

So you copied someone elses tutorial and reworded it? This is a no go as far as contests go but since this particular info was not here(and it is useful) I won't lock it.

Oh and BTW
anti-clockwise
Should be "Counter clockwise"

I had this problem but I just kept turning off my PS4 and pressing the eject button and it worked.
