How long did it last before the 1200 PSP slim battery ?. Also on the second mod with the Pisen adapter, do i need to have that to charge through a power bank ? or can i just use the usb extender with the ports shorted.

Here's a few pictures of an original ps3 controller battery beside a psp1000 battery. Gadorach stated said that the slim psp battery was 50mm in length x 35mm wide x 6mm thick, so i figured id work around that. The controller battery is 57mm length x 35mm wide x 5mm thick with the case ON. With the case OFF it looks like itll fit, but as you can see this thing is only 610mAh. Which would give me around 2810mAh. I guess an extra hour of gameplay isnt too bad.

So can someone clarify which battery would be overcharged? Should I calibrate my Vita and ps3 controller battery by draining them first? What battery works best for you? Im trying to get some more details before I do this and find out later i shortened my battery life or something.

Have you tried fitting the PS3 controller battery in the vita yet?

Also, the PSP battery would have to cope with an extra 0.1v current, it's 3.6v but it's fine. It won't really do any damage to either batteries.
It's best to fully charge both batteries before you install them to the PSV; because otherwise they could hold an uneven charge, maybe even an incomplete charge with each cycle and you wouldn't get the full benefit of the added battery.

I am trying to come up with new largest alternatives to batteries I can use.
I know the best 'KNOWN' possibility is 4000 mAh according to youtube, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gr1QOuZNx04
90 X 60 X 6 mm
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-PCS-3-7V-400 ... SwZA1adnLo

Here are the listings I found on ebay that looks promising.
Let me know the advice. I really hope some could work!!!!

5000mAh - 75 X 55 X 10 mm
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rechargeable-P ... Sw8CZa3zeS

5000mAh - 113 X 65 X 5.5 mm
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rechargeable-P ... SwAghau1SY

8000mAh - 121 X 65 X 7.5 mm
