While games like the last of us, gta 5 or AC 4 or even MGS 5 look very good and are technical marvels I always heard that the ps3 was still capable of more. Is this really true? [removed by mod]

I'm a huge GTAV fan, and I'd have to disagree big guy
True, I had to purchase the game twice as well. And yes what you said is true, but there are countless other things that would have worked. For instance, the RC races in GTA Online, or even the bunkers, clubs, and casinos later on. And even if those would be too much they could have at least added new weaponry, the new radio stations, or just some slow cars. They definitely did get lazy.dmaskell92 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 11:18 amI'm a huge GTAV fan, and I'd have to disagree big guy
I've been coding for FiveM and notice even the best cars don't accelerate past 130MPH. This limitation was from consoles, in fact if you mod PS3 and break the top speed limit you will see textures loading slow, "popping in", or just not loading period. Rockstar pulls the veil over your eyes by simply not providing a speedometer.
On PC however I can have a fully stable 200+ MPH Adder.
I will agree they got lazy and should have supported DLC on old consoles (People paid just as much for the 360/PS3 version as they paid for current gen) and it's kind of a slap in the face for the individuals like myself who had to purchase the game twice.
