Subfolder can't be deleted

Post by shinigami7th »

I have this funny issue. I installed GCLite plugin previously and decided not going to use it anymore... So, I moved all the CSOs from the subfolder under the ISO folder and then I tried to delete the subfolder (I put it at ms0:/ISO/PSP). For some reason, whatever I do, I can't delete that folder. I can rename it, put files into it, etc., just can't be deleted no matter what. Now, it is kinda annoying as it appears as corrupted file under the app list.

Anyone experienced this before?

I'm running 3.18 TN-V10 with Disgaea 2 JP exploit.

Rename it and then try to delete it.

Otherwise move all your ISOs to /ISO2/ and then try to delete the /ISO/ folder.

I had exactly the same issue. Restarting the Vita solved it and I could delete the folder.

I tried rename>delete method and restarting... Both are not working. I even tried reformatting the card and restoring the backup, still no dice...

Currently moving over the files from ISO to ISO2. I'll try to delete ISO later... I'll keep you posted.

I had Syphon Filter 2 downloaded from PSN on my Vita and deleted it in TN-V. It left a corrupt file in TN-V. I ended up having to go into TN-V and find the exact size of the file so I could open up CMA and go into the memory card and delete it there. All of my TN-V files showed as corrupt(of course) so I had to know which one it was. That's how I finally got rid of it thanks to Melon Bread!

This one also failed... Let me try something else...

EDIT: small workaround, renamed the original ISO folder (which is empty apart from the undeletable folder) to something else (ms0:/Junk), and renamed the ISO2 back to ISO... Now, it's clean! But, the mystery continues... Also, I'm doing all these on Filer 6.6

EDIT2: The old renamed ISO folder (ms0:/Junk as mentioned above) can be deleted upon restart... Thanks for your input guys (especially Z).
