PSone games Numblast (EU) exploit

Post by juistm »

Hello, Can someone point me to a good and clear tutorial how to get a PSone game running via the Numblast (EU) exploit. I have tried several but most of them sound like this or there are files missing/links broke.

I want to surprise my girlfriend with the PS One game 'Jade Cocoon' she has the game in disc, but no PS One to play it wit. I would love to just straight up buy it (at whatever price), but Sony doesn't want to make money (don't ask me why).

I don't want custom bubbles, im on a Mac (and don't have acces to a Windows PC) I am on version 3.36, Numblast is installed and got it backed up to my PC using CMDA. I have the ISO named JADE.ISO (yes all capital)

Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

afaik, there is only one way to play non-PSN PSone games on FW 3.36: ARK-2.
if you do not have it installed yet, heres a tut: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yy1x1JQDXys
But the compatability isn't great, even if the game runs you won't have any sound.

You will need to convert your .iso into a .pbp. Try this:

Then follow the HOMEBREW part of this tutorial:

I believe this will do it. Keep in mind, though, that I do not use ARK myself, so everything I wrote here might as well be random guesses.
Furthermore, whatever you do, you do it on your own risk, I will not be held responsible for anything.

BTW, next time do your own research. Don't be lazy.
