Re: Finally... some Christmas cheer!
This was in PSVita because it is relevant for those trying to get homebrew bubbles running on PSVita. Should be with the rest of the PSP on vita talk...
Re: Finally... some Christmas cheer!
Please move this thread back.
This key is used to sign the NPUMDIMG data inside PSN EBOOT.PBPs both for PSP and ePSP.
There's even a thread asking about the size limitation of the "Bubbles" method: http://www.wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=40931
With this key you no longer need to use a different game to sign your homebrew, so the size limitation is no longer an issue.
I'll see if I can reach tpunix to discuss a rewrite of fake_np (and other tools) that I'm working on.

Isnt the ECDSA signature the reason the perma patch does not work on 6.30+?Hykem wrote:2. NPUMDIMG header is 0x100 bytes long, being the last 0x28 bytes the ECDSA signature.
Shouldnt we be able to create one for 6.30+ as of now, or did I misread this?

Not sure if it matters since they're not demos or you guys already know, but there's a crapload of full PSP games with the same R value.

Yeah that's normal, I've seen them too. I'm pretty sure the key is the same though.qwikrazor87 wrote:Not sure if it matters since they're not demos or you guys already know, but there's a crapload of full PSP games with the same R value.
