ok sorry but the emulator does not work. thanks
Re: The Official VHBL Homebrews + Downloads Thread
I cant do anything about it not working. It may be because Fieldrunners doesnt import a certain function that the emulator needs.chivi31 wrote:ok sorry but the emulator does not work. thanks
All you can do is try other versions of the emulator.

Thanks, guys! Problem solved!
Just like PronwanZeke said, install.zip need to be in capitals "INSTALL.ZIP". Then it will appear in 138menu.
And don't try add Roms to already existing archives like i did via TotalCommander. You need to extract them, add your roms to the folder and create new archive from scratch, like it said in tutorial, with "INSTALL.ZIP" in the name.
I even tried PicoDrive 1.51b version and it works great, without ticking sound that was in 1.51. Mega CD games works too, but music in mp3 format not works.
Thanks!

Ok so I got Snes9x TYL no intro finally working on fieldrunners 2.61, woohoo! My bad! Star Ocean runs sweet too. Ok so anyone having the black screen problem, it's all down to installing those dang roms correctly. Stupid me overlooked the whole process and simply dropped them in the ROM folder all inside Winrar, expecting it to work, which normally it would. But, with this you have to follow the process exactly. As stated many times above, EXTRACT the INSTALL.ZIP go inside the Snes9x folder extracted, put your roms in the ROM folder, then back out of the folder, right click on it and "add to archive" with whatever zipping prog you use, and make sure to name it INSTALL.ZIP and set it to just "store" not compressed. Then replace the INSTALL.ZIP with the one you just made and do the usual with CMA etc. I'm super pumped that it works, and it works great too.

Re: The Official VHBL Homebrews + Downloads Thread
Fieldrunners r2 fix 2.61
SnakeSP: Works.
Sonic the Hedgehog: Works.
Sonymon: Works.
SOS Princess Peach: Works.
Space Combat: Gave me Blue light of Death! had to boot into safemode to recover!
Space Hulk: Works.
Spider Solitaire: Won't appear in game list after installed.
SQRXZ: Black screen.
Square Force: Worked but gave (C1-2858-3) error as the level began.
Squarez: Works.
Some good games working there, I wouldn't recommend trying Space Combat on fieldrunners, made me panic slightly my Vita locked up.

Happens from time to timeTimber wrote: made me panic slightly my Vita locked up.
if a homebrew crashes its best to close the exploitable game and give the Vita a breather

lol I couldn't close anything, I had to hold my power button down for 30 seconds and boot into safemode, didn't even know it existed until this
