PSPDisp: Where is the help file?

Post by steven_pat16 »

Hi all,

Just want to know where I can find the help file for this homebrew? I've figured out how to install it and run it, I just need a little help reconfiguring the controls which the program says "refer to the help file" but there wasn't one with the files so does anybody have a copy?

Thanks in advance!

Right after installing PSPDisp, it asks you if you want to see the help file and/or run PSPDisp when the installer exits. You can also see it in the PSPDisp's start menu folder. It's the file called "Documentation". If you chose not to have a start menu folder made, you can still find it in C:\Program Files\PSPDisp\bin\app\PSPDisp_help.html, or you can right click the PSPDisp icon and click Help File.

If you don't want to constantly be checking the table in the help file, you can use this tool I made to help people with making PSPDisp .control files. It's missing a few buttons, but it will tell you which ones you can't use yet. Move your mouse over the Help Me!s for help on whatever is next to it. When you're done with it, copy the text into Notepad, save it as name.control, then right click the PSPDisp icon, go to Controls>Customize>Open control file folder> and copy your new file into there.

Haha, yes I thought the help file was inside the install folder on the PSP and didn't think to look for it in the desktop program. You're a lifesaver thanks.

One more question, can I remap the second analog stick on the Vita? Or is only the left analog stick available?

You can only map it to the D-Pad or the 4 buttons on the Vita..
1. PS Vita Wifi 2.01 fw - Pro-V/Ark
1. PS Vita Wifi 3.18 fw - ?
1. PS Vita 3G 3.60 fw - HENkaku
