Post by JMQMOfficials » Mon Oct 08, 2012 4:27 pm

Soooo many people have been messaging me on how to transfer homebrews & isos so I just decided to make a post :P IDK Why people are having trouble because Wololo posted how to do it on his blog as well.

- Note : When I say something like '[test]', it means you change that to something. Including the '[' & ']'. Don't include the ' btw.. -
- Note : Limit of usermode characters = 8 -

How to transfer homebrews with usermode
1) Make a folder named 'PSP'.
2) Inside 'PSP', make a folder named 'GAME'.
3) Now inside 'GAME', Make a folder named '[HOMEBREW NAME]'.
4) Drag & drop / copy all the files you need inside the '[HOMEBREW NAME]'.
5) Right click the folder 'PSP' and press 'Add to archive...'.
6) Make the name '[HOMEBREW NAME].ZIP' ( Doesn't need to be 'ZIP' but it's most recommended )
7) Make the compression method to 'Store'. ( Also doesn't need to be 'Store' but it's also most recommended )
8) Put the ZIP in your exploit game save.
9) Start your CMA on your computer & also on your Vita. ( Or FTP)
- If you're at older versions and it asks you to update, go download the CMA r4 fix here : http://bit.ly/NOKzXV

11) Start up your exploit.
12) Load your save game.
13) Unpack your ZIP folder

- If you're using the alternative FTP, choose a random number -

I think it would be important to note in your tutorial that the old method of VHBL prepackaged INSTALL.ZIP's will not work here and that you need to unpackage those INSTALL.ZIP's for homebrew things to work. That should help out a lot of people who were not familiar with the whole prepackaged situation that we dealt with in MHFU.

How do you get your CSO/ISO files to make Save files? Everytime my game loads it says it can't create a save file because there isn't enough room, but I've got over 3gigs free.

Thanks!

Generally they'd make their own save files, check the compatibility list if there's something wrong.
Some games still have bugs, like crashing, freezing, and for you, not saving. The link is below.

Also, if that doesn't work, get another copy of the game. If it was iso, try cso, and if it was cso, try iso.

You must've meant "dump your game again from UMD". ;)

Here's my fair share of headaches for the past 30 minutes:

In my eagerness to get Crisis Core running on my Vita, I may have bumped my PSP while it was whirring away making a fresh dump of the game. When I transferred this dump, TN-B went all blackscreen on me.

Installing yMenu and then browsing to my games, I noticed the "broken dump" icon on my Crisis Core game. Re-dumping and FTPing the game again made the correct icon appear, and now am back where I left my game off, almost 3 years ago :D

Ymenu wont read from Root on tn-b Ms0:// wont work if u have Ymenu
You have to move the iso folder to the psp folder then that folder will appear
On ymenu and you can now access the isos,Ymenu is awesome but whats the deal
On not loading from ms0:// i guess thats the way it was made.
