Favorite Java IDE?

Post by watswat5 »

Hi.
I'm beginning my first Java class as a computer science major. I've only had experience with C++, which I use Code::Blocks for. However, I now need a better IDE for Java development. My professor is allowing any IDE for the class, but recommends NetBeans. I already have Eclipse set up as part of the android SDK, as I've always wanted to do android app development. Any thoughts?

eclipse is awesome for java, C/C++ and python. But if your PC is a bit slow the go for codeblocks
