Castlevania SOTN EBOOT help

Postby BATSHTCRAZY » Fri Jun 29, 2012 9:59 pm

Hey everyone.

I recently ripped my Castlevania Symphony Of The Night .iso from my game. I converted it to EBOOT.PBP to use on my psp, using PSX2PSP 1.4.2. I used images to create a custom EBOOT. However when I put it on my PSP it shows up as corrupted data. I then tried converting the .iso without custom images, put it on my PSP, and it runs fine. I have used PSX2PSP many times and it always works to make custom EBOOTs, except on this game. Anyone know why or know a way to fix it so I can have a custom EBOOT?

well. if your PC has enough RAM i guess you can add the images later using pspbrew or pbpunpacker, you simply have to add the images you want and save the EBOOT.

or try another program as popstationGUI, it works fine

What does the amount of RAM your PC have to do with a corrupt game?

please put it in a rar archive choosing under the "split to volumes" zip100 then upload each piece of the archive to https://www.transferbigfiles.com/ and post the links here or send them to my email liegelord@gmail.com.

I will see if i can make a decent working eboot.pbp file from it

It sounds to me like it's a bad rip or an error during the creation of the Eboot - try re-rip the game, then recreate the Eboot.

Also, try to ensure that the disc is clean, and in fully working order.
PSP 1003; 6.60 ME, PSP GO; 6.20 PRO-C, PSVita; 2.02 Uno - replacement will be arriving soon.
PS1; Mod Chip. PS2; FreeMcBoot V1.8, PS3; 3.55 Kmeaw, Wii 4.3e Letterbomb Mod.
