You can do this with up to three homebrews by using the queuing system through HomebrewStore Mobile. The functionality might be added to the PSP client itself at a later time.

Since i don't see it in the 1st page (and cannot use certain words on the search), are you gonna include support for plugins and homebrew that isn't pure user-mode?, you could put in a different section or make it a filter option. Another suggestion could be a part where one can see all the homebrew installed via the HB store and show if there are updates for these (with option to mark them and download in a queue).

I haven't tried the HB store before but today dled it and it looks promising :geek: .

Indeed this is something PSP has been missing for quite some time...
A packaging system and version control is needed to effectively manage a whole lot of Homebrews...

Furthermore packaging things up via a store / repository makes it easy for homebrew newcomers to get all they need from a single source.

Keep up the good work.

The HomebrewStore Web and Mobile clients have been updated to version 2.55.

Changes in the Mobile Client:
-iPad is no longer redirected to the Mobile client
-Fixes for operation on iOS 5 have been made

Changes in the Web Client:
-Queuing Support has been added

Some changes have been made on the HomebrewStore Network as well:
-Queue limit has been increased from 3 items to 5.
-The "Genesis Comp." category has been removed from the Storefront.

There is technically support for plugins and non-user-mode homebrew. However, current policy is to keep everything on the store compatible with any PSP that is capable of running the store. An update checker for content has been planned for a while it just hasn't been implemented fully yet, although there is support in the client to check for updates against certain partner homebrews.

Version control is certainly something that is proving to be necessary and will certainly be worked on in the future.

Thanks for the support!

Sorry for the delay in getting to these replies, I didn't recieve a notification that they were here

LivePatch 11270121 is now being sent to all PSP clients when they connect to the HomebrewStore.

LivePatch 11270121 shows a small banner encouraging the user to consider donating to the HomebrewStore on the Storefront every 5 starts of the Store. New users should not see this banner on their first start.

Another LivePatch will be made available before the end of the year to enable the checking of software installed on the PSP against the HomebrewStore database to determine if content is out of date.

As previously promised, a new LivePatch has been made to check the content installed on the user's PSP against the HomebrewStore database to determine if content is out of date.

This new LivePatch is LivePatch 12270958. Its official changelog is as follows:
-- Checks for Outdated Content
-- Visual Changes to Queue Downloader

Users will notice a message that says "Inspecting Installed Content" during the startup of the HomebrewStore from this point onward. This message shows after "Checking for Updates" but before "Preparing Storefront".

Changes have been made to the HomebrewStore Terms of Service to accomodate the inspection of installed content. For those with privacy concerns, know that the HomebrewStore client only sends a list of detected content IDs and version numbers to the HomebrewStore servers after inspecting the storage device, no other information from the inspection is sent.

HomebrewStore can only provide version checking against content installed from this point onward. Previously installed content cannot be version checked due to content installed before this update not having version data. Content may be redownloaded from the HomebrewStore to get valid version data(deletion of the content before redownloading should not be necessary).

Other caveats include:
  • HomebrewStore can only provide version checking for content installed using HomebrewStore formatting (/PSP/GAME/HBRW10XXXX/ where XXXX is a HomebrewStore ID number). This is not a problem for any content installed using the HomebrewStore. However, this means that most manually installed homebrew will not be version checked.
  • Content installed using the HomebrewStore Downloader for PC will not have version data installed with it. There will be an update to the HomebrewStore Downloader in the near future to remedy this.
  • HomebrewStore will only provide version checking for content installed in the /PSP/GAME/ directory. Content installed in other directories such as /PICTURE/ will not be version checked.
Enjoy the (hopefully :P ) last LivePatch of the year!

LivePatch 0106121147 is now being sent to PSP clients when they connect to the HomebrewStore.

LivePatch 0106121147 provides for minor changes to the previous LivePatch that enabled content version checking. This new LivePatch fixes a bug that caused version checking to happen on every visit to the Storefront, instead of just once per use of the Store.

LivePatch "Avalon" is now being sent to clients upon connection to the HomebrewStore. (We've stopped using the timestamps publicly and went to easier to remember names for the LivePatches for now)

LivePatch "Avalon" installs a feature called "HomebrewSupport" to your PSP while loading the HomebrewStore Storefront. HomebrewSupport is a special installation of Half-Byte Loader that HomebrewStore content can depend on existing if necessary. HomebrewSupport allows us to upload content to the HomebrewStore that would not normally operate on OFW with normal signing.

Games using HomebrewSupport still launch from the XMB like normal signed homebrew, the only difference is that when you start the homebrew from the XMB, HomebrewSupport will load up HBL first, automatically, to allow the game to run on OFW.

As of now, content using HomebrewSupport requires firmware 6.60 to be installed. The PC client does not yet install HomebrewSupport when installing content to a PSP unit. It is advised to run the HomebrewStore natively on the PSP at least once to ensure HomebrewSupport is installed.

For those who are interested, HomebrewStore installs HomebrewSupport into /PSP/HOMEBREWSUPPORT/ and the source code for HomebrewSupport's lightly modified version of HBL may be found at http://hbstore.screeze.com/HBSUPPORT/100s.zip

PSP Revolution has been added to the HomebrewStore to showcase how HomebrewSupport operates.

As HomebrewSupport is a new and fairly complex feature, please report any problems you have while using it.

Although I don't use HomebrewStore, I think it's an excellent project, keep up the great work! :)
