こんにちは みんな。 これは AnyLanguageStudy の 最後の リリースです。 それ を 楽しみます。

Hello everyone! This is the final release of AnyLanguageStudy. I hope you have enjoyed the releases. Especially I would like to thank Wololo.net/talk members: Grabiel and Kassad for contibuting word lists for the project. Grabiel contributed Chinese Chino word lists and Kassad English-Spanish and Spanish-Japanese word lists. If you still cannot find the word lists for your need, I recommend using Anki. I used the program for the first time in the current release and think it was rather simple to convert the lists to the right format with it / Notepad++ (ok, in the worst case, I needed to program some parsers, but that's not too difficult.).

Here is the changelog of tenth release:
* When a known list is cleared it will only clear the current range.
* Added word lists for Finnish, French, German, Japanese and Spanish.

Amazing work Nakano, thank you for making this app.
I hope you win the competition.

I've been studying kanji using 'Remembering the Kanji' and I was able to convert an Anki deck of it pretty easily like you said. It's great being able to review on the PSP now.
The only drawback I've run into is that some of the complicated kanji are difficult to read because the text is too small and zooming doesn't really help much.
Is there any way to fix that?
I could imagine using kanji images to display larger crisper kanji, but that would be a couple thousand images and a lot of work.

I've attached an example of what I mean:

Hi passingby and thanks for commenting!

Unfortunately PSP's internal font is not as crisp as I would hope. If there is a custom Japanese font made for PSP, that might solve the issue. I also tried with Chinese font (gb3s1518.bwfon;jpn0.pgf), but the result doesn't get any better:

Your suggestion about kanji images would work, but as you said it would require a lot of work (4 hours exactly). When I worked with PSPEdict, I made 6000+ kanji images. I now joined the image information with Heisig's list. It didn't went as smoothly as I had planned, but I made the list anyway [download link].

After downloading, put the files in the folder "language/japanese/rtk". This is the folder where kanji images are searched. The set includes all 6000+ images as it would have required extra time to delete the ones that aren't used. You might want to resize the images and/or edit this line in index.lua "screen:blit(0,0,questionImage)" to change (x,y) coordinates of image (there are 4 similar lines that need to be replaced). Finally, add this line into dictionary.ini "jpn0.pgf;ltn0.pgf;language/japanese/rtk/Heisig's_Remember_the_Kanji.csv;English-Japanese"

It worked! I think.

The resized image folder was only around 19mb with all 6000+ images, so I think that's pretty good.
Again, thank you very much.

No problem. I am glad you got it working! If you want to, you could share the resized images + csv-file for them who don't want to do the work.

Thank you, passingby, for sharing! I tested it and it seems to work just fine. I also updated the first post with the link.
