Thank you for the feedback Kassad! It really helps making this more user friendly. The first two are "features"; not real bugs. However, to avoid confusing anyone I am going to divide kana.csv to hiragana.csv and katakana.csv. I'll do the same for sentence.csv so that example words will always be right. Hiragana is usually learned first and after that katakana so this decision makes sense.

The third one is a bug. I have also noticed it, but it happens rarely for me. I am not sure in what exact situation flickering happens. I'll be looking into it.

This has now been fixed and it's time for the ninth release.

It's a nice app but it would only be useful to me if it had Spanish. :(

Well, I probably should have prepared for my exams a little more, but updating homebrew was much more fun. I am glad he liked it!

Sorry. I think I have had enough of manual parsing word lists. The app supports Spanish, so you can find/make your own word lists. If I still create a new release, I could include your word lists.

Ah, Nakano! Bug detected! :S

I was making the Spanish vocab example list and when I tried it i realicet that the homebrew doesn't allow accents.

Example:
It ask for binoculars, and the right answer is prismáticos, but it only shows prismcos (the "áti" is missing).
I have test the accents in your homebrew because my brother is programmer (he is studying in the university) and sometimes he got bugs with accents.

Thanks for all!

EDIT: another curious and funny bug (yep, all the bugs happen with accents, but this is really funny) when it ask for japanese, and the right answer is japonés, it shows japonvvv! (yeah homebrew!, i love japan too! but not put "!!!" in the word LOL :D )

For English-Spanish word list, these settings should work:
ltn0.pgf;ltn0.pgf;language/test.csv

If you would be doing Spanish-Japanese word list, you could use these:
jpn0.pgf;ltn0.pgf;language/test.csv

Tried with this strange file (UTF-8 not bom encoded):
prismáticos;something
prismáticos;あな
japonés;Japanese
japonés;日本

Thank you very much helping me with this! If you got it ready on time (before 27th of May), I will add your word lists to the final release. I have only two minor issues I am planning to look. I am not completely sure whether another can be solved in Lua, though (multibyte issue).

In dictionary.ini i have this:
#Spanish-English
ltn1.pgf;ltn0.pgf;language/spanish/Spanish-vocab.csv;Spanish

I will try with your font set (ltn0;ltn0), also, if only ltn0 or other fonts are compatible with languages with accents (like Spanish and French) maybe it can be a good idea say it in the readme.txt like when you say that for japanese language is jpn0.

Maybe I must take a look for a plugin for take screenshots of the bugs if it is still apearing.

No problem, I want help you, among other things, because you are helping me and other people with this homebrew. I will try to get it ready on time, now come the university exams but everybody have almost 2 hour of freetime on weekend ;) .

I would like that you win the genesis competition because you really deserve it.
