How to Read FAQ's and Walkthroughs while playing a game on your PSP using PSPETEXT
PSPETEXT is a text reader created by QBRADQ for PSP game consoles running custom firmwares. This text reader is implemented as a kernel-space module that gets loaded along side your game. Holding the L, R. Down and Cross keys for a few seconds will pause the game and bring up the text reader interface. You can read any ASCII text file on the PSP memory stick. This plugin is useful for reading FAQ files from sites like http://www.gamefaqs.com while playing your favorite PSP games
This plugin has been tested to be working on 6.20 PRO C2 Custom Firmware, I can’t assure this will work on any other CFW. Do so at your own risk.
So okay, here we go,please follow the steps carefully
Step 1:
The first thing you wanna do is make sure you are not hiding file extensions, this will avoid double extensions that will lead to things not working, so do these first:
On your Windows PC:
Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.
Click the View tab, and then, under Advanced settings, do one of the following:
Uncheck the “Hide extensions for known file types” check box, and then click OK
Step 2:
Download PSPETEXT
https://copy.com/Lmu9siu94i343dpd/PSPET ... download=1
Step 3:
Now connect your PSP to the PC, and create a new folder on the root of your memory stick and name it SEPLUGINS. This is where we are going to put most of the plugins listed here. Then inside the SEPLUGINS folder create the following text files (Right click-> New-> Text file) and name them the following:
VSH
GAME
POPS
Copy the file pspetext.prx to your PSP's /seplugins directory.
Copy this line to your GAME.txt and POPS.txt
ms0:/seplugins/pspetext.prx 1
Step 4:
We might wanna test our plugin to see if it is working.
Load any game then press and hold the left trigger, right trigger,
down arrow and cross keys for two seconds. A brief splash screen will display,
followed by the file load menu. Press the Select button to see usage.
Note that in some games the splash screen is more of a quick flicker.
This is normal.
Controller mapping:

Step 5:
Since PSPETEXT has a limit of 80-column display,we might wanna edit our .txt files so that the text will fit the psp screen.
Download Notepad++
http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v6.7.2.html
After you downloaded the file, open it and go to View and Enable Word Wrap
After that, go to Settings > Preferences > Editing > Vertical Edge Settings.
Enable "Show vertical edge" and change the number of columns to 80
A vertical marker line will appear at the 80th character column in notepad++.
Step 6:
Test the .txt files to see if the text fitted into the psp's screen.
