well i think i might have it installed now, but i am having some truble compiling ... it comes up with errors, like i didnt link the pspsdk directorys right and therefore cant find some of the files even with sources i know work

i finally got it to compile, by copying some of the files from the sdk to my source folder, but do i actually have to do this?
or can i link up these directorys so that itll find the files it needs to compile, when it needs them ... or did i (still) do something wrong during installation? :?

well, it depends on what you're trying to compile. for example, if your code includes some .h files from the pspsdk it should be able to find them if you exported the environmental variables correctly, but you could also just copy the .h files you needed into the same directory as the code you are working with. to be more specific we would really need to know exactly what you're trying to do ;)

You obviously have no idea what an SDK is, mate. Why you install stuff you don't even know what it's for?

ha ha i had a feeling it would be you to reply
but... you helped me to install linux , eclipse and gcc
and i had no idea what linux was , eclipse or gcc
but now playing around with them and building my skills up i know what they are
and how to use them reasonably proficiently
you never know if you never try
