Burning new iso to umd?
Burning new iso to umd?
Is it possible to burn a different iso to a umd or is something preventing me from doing so?
Re: Burning new iso to umd?
No, it's just not possible. There aren't any tools available to do so. This has been asked years ago. The answer will always be the same.

Can you burn an ISO into a PS3 disk? No? Exactly.
That and good luck not only finding a blank UMD disk but the hardware to write to it.

Hmm... I wonder if someone could make a homebrew for PSP which allows it to wipe the game from UMD and allows to burn the .iso file from the PSP itself.

the UMD drive on the PSP isn't able to write to the UMD, only read from it.varunpillai wrote:Hmm... I wonder if someone could make a homebrew for PSP which allows it to wipe the game from UMD and allows to burn the .iso file from the PSP itself.
Think of it as a standard DVD player, you can watch movies from a DVD, but you can't copy movies to the DVD from the DVD player.

the pirated ps3 games here in the philippines that are sold are either not true or are phoney...fate6 wrote:Can you burn an ISO into a PS3 disk? No? Exactly.

I always wondered how vendors could come up with such a thing like burning an iso to a cd when it is not even possible...
i think the ps3 games on cds here are a scam...
Re: Burning new iso to umd?
Not really, You can buy blank BluRay disks pretty cheap and even BD Writers are not all that expensive these days so yes you can actually make a bootleg PS3 disk if you really wanted to. Still need CFW to run it tho.KillerM33 wrote:the pirated ps3 games here in the philippines that are sold are either not true or are phoney...fate6 wrote:Can you burn an ISO into a PS3 disk? No? So, is it possible to pirate PS3 Games? Does the game have any protection or whatsoever against piracy?fate6 wrote:Not really, You can buy blank BluRay disks pretty cheap and even BD Writers are not all that expensive these days so yes you can actually make a bootleg PS3 disk if you really wanted to.
