How about you take a peek at your manual, and Google?

Type 1 = Connected directly to the internet.
Type 2 = Connected to the internet via Router.

At least I'm sure that's what it is, I can't remember.

I don't know if this has been asked before, or if its a stupid question to ask.

I don't have a wireless router at home, I just have my Android phone which I convert into a portable hotspot. It has its SSID, etc.

So, can I use that or is it a must that I need a wireless router?

Look in your hotspot settings. I think your phone counts as a router because you connect to it via WI-FI

Thought I would drop a message in here... sorry I'm a day late for easter.
I spent 3 days coding on the matching library, as I wanted to produce results in emulating it asap, after npt went as far as donating a 2nd PSP to my cause to help me debug things.

Long story short... we got 5 more supported games, a new client out... and the Dissidia series is now part of it.

Original Dissidia works flawless... Dissidia Duodecim has some weird random crashes... but works too.

Hi Coldbird, I have some suggestions for make this homebrew better... For play PSP games online using the Adhoc system there exist already alternatives, tunneling services like Xlink Kai. I Suggest that it will be great to make the homebrew interact with the Xlink Kai network. You can contact them here http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/ surely they will help you by giving to you some API or whatever (I hope so...). Also will be great to contact with Neur0n for creating a client compatible on his CF, so the users of the CF ME will be able to enjoy this system :D .

I have to report some issues...
With PRO CFW nightly build, it works fine except the web browser...it doesnt connect at times, I really need the browser so this is annoying...Is there a way to have the online client in 6.20 PRO B10fix? since everything works fine in B10 ;)
With dissidia duodecim, it crashes as coldbird said, it hangs but the wifi lights from my router still blinks, is this a latency problem?
Thanks in advance for reading this :)
I have a PSP 3000 CFW 6.20 Pro B10
Final Fantasy Fan, nuff said. =D

No, no, no, no, no, hell no. This is not making it better, this is making it unusable. Also, you have no idea how xlink kai works, and how PRO Online works. If you did, you'd know that the way Coldbird does it is much better. If you knew, you'd know how meaningless this would be.

:| Once complete, the project will be open-source anyway, so anyone who wants it integrated in their CFW will be able to do so, under the terms of the GPL iirc.
