NES Emulator with 2-player support?

Post by halfdragonheart »

I got a PSTV and I love playing retro games with my brothers
I wandered around the talk forum and found a SNES emulator homebrew that supports 2-player...
What about NES? Anyone has any info about this? :)

Retroarch supports 2 player out of the box now. :) Just sync up two controllers to the PSTV by plugging them in 1 by 1, syncing it then syncing the other.
Open Retroarch (Probably the FCEU core) and you'll find that the second player works just fine.
At least, does for me. :o

With some fiddling you can even get some emulators to a playable two player state on one controller/on a handheld Vita rather than a PSTV. Not exactly the most useful thing, wouldn't be too playable for anything that's realtime, but for things that are turn based such as GB/C Pokemon games battling/trading it works well enough
