Re: What is the best language to use for programming the Vit

C++[con] - Grammar is terrible I don't see how it is. :? and debugging is a nightmare. A simple punctuation error could spit out 20 lines of incomprehensible nonsense to the console that gives you almost no idea what the actual problem is. Allow me to disagree if you haven't used ActionScript. Forg...

Re: Crash on PS1 game on PSV. Any use to devs?

Nope. I'm not going to explain into detail why, as it was done quite well by Acid_Snake on the blog, but it goes somehow like: PS1's too limited, exploiting it would gain nothing really.

Re: .exe?

If it's renpy-based, there's a renpy port for the psp.

If you run something like, windows 95 via dosbox, you might get it running by the time you hit 82.

I'd say AES, due to it being widely-used, and also due to possible import/export law limitations. If I remember correctly, the pkg files were AES-encrypted as well, so it would make sense to use the same cipher. But this is a guess, I have no evidence to back it up with.

Re: Ripping 3d models - Easiest way?

It's just a toss up as to whether their files are encrypted or compressed, and if the format of those files is known. This. So, instead of trying to read the image data and find the models there, you could also try dumping the memory when you know a model is loaded, and attempting to find it in mem...

Instead of the vita os? No.
magicroundabout wrote:what about the macOSII portable, could i run that thru the psp emulator?
Well, it goes like this: if there's a PSP emulator for it, it might or might not work via vhbl, and is more likely to work in an ecfw.

how is the performance running it that way?
can you access the wifi functionality running linux in this way?
Nope, you can't run linux via the pspemu. As for its performance playing PSP games, it's quite good, I must say. Some games actually look better.

Re: When will 3.01 exploits be back on the store?

So, why do we care at all if a game is in the PSP PSN store, when the OP was talking about the Vita PSP game store? *shrugs*
