Pre-made image/compiling fail0verflow's PS4-Linux kernel 4.9

Sorry for the misleading title, but the thread subject character limit is quite restricted.... So, everybody remembers 33c3 back in december of the previous year, with fail0verflow team demonstrating their new and improved, polished linux port based on kernel 4.9 for the PS4. Re: PS4 Linux. Steam + Emulators + office out of the box

Hi (again) D-ecks. I've got a question you might be able to help me with. Recently I purchased a **legit** Kingston HyperX Savage 512 GB USB flash drive to expand my storage space on my PS4 linux setup. Previously I was using a Lexar 64 GB USB flash drive and Fedora was lighting fast. But since I ha...

Re: [Tutorial] Installing Steam on PS4 Linux

audio output working. Working or device available only? That is a good question. I'm interested in this thing too. To quote the original post: What's not working? Sound over hdmi (sound over spdif works) I had a play around this evening trying to get S/PDIF output to work, but i am a super noob whe...

Re: [Tutorial] Installing Steam on PS4 Linux

Hello OsirisX, I noticed that your particular install of Fedora has SPDIF (Optical) audio output working. I've got D-ecks pre-config'd fedora distro running on my PS4 and SPDIF output isn't functioning, as was written in his tutorial. I'm just wondering what i need to do in D-ecks distro of PS4 linu...

Re: PS4 Linux. Steam + Emulators + office out of the box

I have same problem when playground not set as start page in User's guide. Try Magic DNS: Configure your internet connection and set primary DNS to 89.108.88.221, secondary set to 0.0.0.0 . More detailed version of this instruction is here . It automatically redirects you to the playground and star...

Re: PS4 Linux. Steam + Emulators + office out of the box

Hi D-ecks, thanks a lot of the tutorial, it's really easy to follow for a PS4 homebrew beginner like me :) However, I am having trouble getting this to work. I've had a few different outcomes on my 1.76 PS$ so far, for example, after pressing the load linux button in PS4 playground, sometimes the un...

Re: How to get the PSM Unity Dev Assistant

After a couple of hours of messing around, I got the PSM for Unity app + the update package installed on my 3.18 fw PS Vita. On launch, I also get the splash screen telling me I need to update. But a tap on the OK button reverts directly back into the app where it informs me that my developers licen...
