Re: No more ads in the forums for registered users
Not only a lot of ads, but also very fishy scripts. Going to your blog and my browser asks for permission to use my microphone and access to files... looks like I need to start using noscript and ad blocker on your page. I like your work and I understand you need to make a living, but with the curre...

Update Firmware, keep activation
Hi,
I am on 3.18 and want to update to 3.60 for henkaku.
Will I risk losing my activation or will it survive the FW update and henkaku installation?
Thx

Coming from 3.18, moving up to Henkaku Enso
Hi, I am sitting on my PS Vita that is still on 3.18. It is activated and has lots of custom bubbles for various homebrew. it also runs TN-X for PSOne games. With Henkaku Enso finally released I thought I should do the step to update to 3.60. Is the process as simple as: 1. Install 3.60 2. Install H...

Wololo Ads
Hi wololo! I visit wololo.net almost every day since I really enjoy the good updates on the PS Vita scene. I understand that you have to finance the page using ads, and I am fine with that. While I think sometimes it's a bit too much and it got more and more during the 'dry' period I still get you h...

Best way to prepare for updating FW3.60 in the future?
Hi, I own a PSVita with 3.18 and a PSTV with 3.20. I use both TN-V and TN-X and don't want to loose them yet. Is there any way I can download FW3.60 onto the device and/or to OpenCMA/qcma without installing? So when Sony releases 3.61 I can still just update to 3.60 without faking an update server/s...

Re: TN-X Clarifications
I was in the same position a month ago. There is no real way to tell, apart from choosing a bundle that might come with 3.20. I went ahead and bought the PSTV + Lego Movie Game bundle from Amazon, and it came with 3.20 :) Other option would be to go to a game shop that sells used devices, and just p...

Re: What's the best FW for cfw/homebrew
I remember that I read that I needed some kind of PSN account to run the "Rejuvenate" but that service was discontinued/closed by Sony. There are two PSM apps (the app you need to run rejuvenate) on the Vita: 1. One for PSM developer. This requires an account which is now impossible as you already ...

Re: TN-X Clarifications
1. It runs via the native PSOne emulater of the vita (vs TN-V which runs PSOne emu inside the ePSP) 2. It should run with the same speed as a classic would run (it uses the same emulator) 3. You have access to the exact same settings a PSOne classic game has on the vita (press&hold PS button). This ...

Re: What's the best FW for cfw/homebrew
3.36 - 3.51 will all support 444MHz.mindglitch wrote:is 3.36 the only fw to use 444Mhz?
Background: Rejuvenate requires UnityPSM dev app to run. There are several versions of that app, but only UnityPSM 1.06 allows for 444MHz mode. 1.06 requires minimum Vita FW 3.36. so thats that. 3.52 patched rejuvenate.
