Re: gpu_free mesh data results in crash

I solved my problem by using the memory pool instead of re allocating memory each frames :)

Re: gpu_free mesh data results in crash

I tried to update my mesh data instead of creating a new mesh, and it looks like gxm "locks" the data until the scene is drawn :( All the characters are drawn at the same position.

gpu_free mesh data results in crash

Hi everyone, I am making a text rendering system using freetype library. I have generated a texture for each character, and now i'd like to draw each character of a string. Here is my code for the string drawing : for (Component *c : _components) { TextComponent *text = dynamic_cast<TextComponent*>(...

Re: Missing headers file vitasdk

I managed to have bullet working by creating an empty memory.h header file. I guess it wasn't needed

Missing headers file vitasdk

Hi, I am trying to compile bullet in order to add physic to one of my project. Unfortunately when using arm-vita-eabi-g++ it looks like some headers file are missing (features.h, memory.h). I can compile the library for arm using arm-linux-gnueabihf-g++. Is there a specific reason why those headers ...

Re: How to use 3D of the GPU?

I looked at the libvita2d sources and the initialisation of the lib also initialises some shaders needed by the lib. It should not be a problem, but I think that initializing the context by yourself would be a cleaner method. I tried to create a small 3d renderer : https://github.com/MrSilverstone/v...

Re: How to use 3D of the GPU?

Just look at the vita2dlib for context initialisation. Then use your own shaders an setup matrix for 3d rendering. You can use this for compiling shaders https://github.com/xyzz/vita-shaders (you will need an arm version of gcc and an arm emulator).

Re: Invalid gxp shader

I just found that vitashell used to be able to compile shaders. I found some code in this commit : https://bitbucket.org/TheOfficialFloW/v ... 770872a9c9
I found other informations on this repo https://github.com/frangarcj/vitahelloshader
