Re: Installing homebrew on Apache exploit

I hope this helps anyone with this problem c: Great walk-through. I would just add that if you're under Windows, to make sure you can see the file extensions (by default, they're turned off...my biggest issue was my "INSTALL.ZIP" file was actually named "INSTALL.ZIP.zip"). Also, for my case, the sa...

Re: Installing homebrew on Apache exploit

"DATA.BIN" or "PIC1.PNG" files listed in the folder under VHBL... Theres no DATA.BIN in the VHBL install files, are you using a different menu? Yes there are 'DATA.BIN' files. However, it doesn't appear that you need those files. I ended up getting it working (ran gPSP without a hiccup now), and I ...

Re: Installing homebrew on Apache exploit

It MUST be made like this: INSTALL.ZIP If its not in all caps, even the extention, CMA WILL NOT COPY IT Yes, I do have the install folder set in all caps as "INSTALL.ZIP". Initially Windows7 was putting on an additional ".zip" on the end of the filename, but I fixed that, and even if I remove the e...

Installing homebrew on Apache exploit

I managed to get VHBL installed on my Vita 2.06 using the Apache exploit, but I am having the most difficult time getting any homebrews installed. In my "PSAVEDATA" folder on my PC, I have a folder "438d7b223d875d23" and two sub-folders: "NPUZ00098PROFILE" (VHBL) and "NPUZ00114DATA00" (another folde...

Re: Your Favorite PC Game

Definitely Fallout 3. Idk what it is about that game, but I seriously got addicted to it. I also love Unreal Tournament 2004 (many many hours of LAN parties spent on that one game). But back in the day, I was a huge fan of Command and Conquer Red Alert - loads of fun to play on your own or with a fr...

Re: Web Programming - Vita Browser Support

Thanks everyone - think I have my answer now. I somewhat suspected this when I logged any keystroke events that the window could grab and noticed nothing would happen with any of the buttons, but I wanted to make sure. Too bad though...could be a lot of fun developing web-games for the Vita... :(

Re: Good programming language for beginner.

Being a research programmer as my occupation, I'm introduced to a lot of languages and projects. It really depends on what your end goal is. As some have said, if you're shooting for a web-app, I'd recommend learning JavaScript (and jQuery is a great way to get started!). HTML5 standards (especially...
