Re: How to protect the valuable exploits?

All ninja releases are are smoke and mirrors. The actual dev knows that as soon as its "ninja" released, it's just as released as a front page post. The ninja releases are only there for users so some users who have been in this community for a long time gets a previledge. If it gets "leaked", then...

Re: I need people with Super Collapse vhbl (US,EU)

sorry I forgot that you want to reverse the whole tn.bin. in that case then yes. it does access sceload... but that after it exploits the kernel. that what I was referring to. btw if the functions it patching aren't that much different than 1.69, than just hexediting tn.bin with the correct offset s...

Re: I need people with Super Collapse vhbl (US,EU)

guys please note that on tn-b he took off all the hard coded function address. what he did was create a function that automatically search for the functions by nid in memory. he uses the exploited function to patch a specific offset of sysmem.prx in memory. if you compare sysmem from 1.80/1.81 with ...

Re: PSVita Buffer Overflow...?

Ok, I see. It just seems strange to me that you need specific keys to load specific OS modules. If you gain usermode access in windows or linux, you can LoadLibrary/dlopen anything process's owner has access to. I just wonder how all these security features work in vita. Does every module need a sp...

TY I mean snes/gba
It will do exactly the same things as TN-A, but more stable.

Re: Vita firmware downgrade possible in the future?

Curious if we will ever see a way to downgrade vita firmware. With the psp the pandora's battery worked pretty well if you were on a OFW that was not able to be downgraded easily. Of course with Vita's internal battery this would be impossible, Just curious if maybe using CMA or FTP such an exploit...

Re: PSVita Buffer Overflow...?

I see your point, thecobra. You're saying that the more features vita's software uses the easier it is to find an exploit in it AND the more access we will have if we do find one. But it goes back to the question I was long pondering upon - why is it possible to use only functions imported by explo...

Re: PSVita Buffer Overflow...?

Just a quick question. Vita's earlier(<1.80) OFW versions were known to freeze a lot when communicating to poorly-configured wifi-points. How about an idea to find a vulnerability connecting to a customly configured wifi router? I am pretty sure that IEEE 802.11 protocols do have some security fail...
