Re: Archiving game/exploit for future use

Yes. This is what I have used. Backup via the OpenCMA. I assume in this case that even if I was to format the whole memory stick, I can restore without activation as I have the backup already?

Re: Archiving game/exploit for future use

For the OP. If you do not format your memory card but only do a hard reset on the vita end then you can restore the backup games. However if you are doing a full wipe of both the vita and the memory then you will still be able to get the game back on but to use it the Vita will prompt you to activa...

Re: Archiving game/exploit for future use

As mentioned in the initial post, I did not ask whether or not I can access the PSN store to download material without updating. I know that its a requirement to update to the latest firmware before there is any access or download queues. What I asked is whether or not I can restore the game backup...

Re: NO HOMEBREWS IN PSP/VHBL. I'M AT A LOSS, ANY HELP PLEASE

Press the right shoulder button and go inside your relevant folder (in the save section) it should then ask you if you want to install. Select Yes. Also you may have to decompress the install.zip files and place them in a VHBL folder and repack it (zip with no compression) so that it will appear in ...

Archiving game/exploit for future use

Had a PS Vita a few years ago and decided to purchase one again very recently This came with 3.55 (Was the Lego Mega heroes bundle pack). I installed CMA and the openCMA patch, as well as running the update spoofer/blocker. This worked well enough to make the PS Vita think that I was on the latest f...

Re: About android for ps vita

A bit of a waste to be honest. In order for android on vita. a full exploit or so is required on the Vita. If all this is done soon with the successful port, then it would be a very powerful device (think of it as having similar specs as the ipad3 except having a quad core a9 instead of a dual core ...

Re: homebrew emulators

I would guess that you need to place the roms in the 'install.zip' folder for it to extract to the psp file system. You can then use PSP filer if required to other area's

Placing other files in the savegame folder does not seem to copy across

Re: My tn menu wont read any homebrews nor isos/csos.

Think of the exploit savegame folder as a temporary area. get your homebrew. lets assume the homebrew is in the folder 'hbrew'. Create a PSP folder, then inside that, create a GAME folder. then place the 'hbrew' folder from the root of the 'PSP' folder create a zip file with no compression (eg. stor...

Re: Gravity crash exploit by tek4

Glad the filesize of the game is small <50mb. Never used any exploit before on the vita. I would guess the below is correct Formatted vita. Installed the game with the exploit. Installed CMA. Then copied files from opencma latest version into the folder. Ran the setdll.exe and run.bat files backed u...
