Regular Adroid Crash

Post by Turrambar »

Hi
Android version of Wagic crashes after few matches. Screen freeze and music starts glitching (sound skipping/lagging) for about 15 seconds and it quits to phone home screen.
It happens regulary - usually in 3rd match. Sometimes faster, when match is intensive.
Ive tested it on Samsung Galaxy Trend running ICS 4.0.4 with WTH 0.18.6 and WTH 0.19.1 r4847 (compiled by xojlmc).
Also Ive tested it on LG-E400 running Gingerbread 2.3.6 with WTH 0.18.6 (just for testing, screen resolution was unbearable).
In every case same crash occured.
WTH installation was unmodded, clean install from apk file with automaticlly downloaded core.
Tried running it from internal and external SD - no difference.
Tried changing settings (mana presentation, themes... etc.).
Tried different game modes.
In every case crash occured.

I hope that this particular issue can be fixed.
I appriciate hard work that were put into making Wagic. GOOD WORK!. Its nearly perfect app for any MTG fan.

If anyone is intrested in it, I can make video of that crash.

Hello Turrambar,

I have recently moved from PSP to Wagic on Android myself.

Initially I had some problems with button mapping causing Wagic to close. (Not really a crash?)

When I figured out how to map a couple of buttons the problem was resolved. (Try setting them in the options menu)

I have played about 130 games since and had 1 crash.

I am running from a JXD s7800b running android 4.2.2 from internal memory.

Hope this helps.

Hi
Thanks for helping
Can You describe what You did?
Which buttons map where? Should I delete duplicated bindings?
I can only map back button (arrow). I cant map volume keys, menu (middle button), power or menu (menu displays "settings" and "about" option).
Can You post Your settings?
Please help
Best regards

Android Key Bindings

Post by i-am-not-one »

Sorry for the late reply. I thought I answered this.

I am sure they will get around to fixing the key binding (in particular the button press detection) eventually but it is not such a priority.

I found this to be helpful
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3723&p=27581&hilit ... eys#p27581

Particularly the line keybindings_sdl=1073742094:2

The AC_BACK key has a scancode of 1073742094 which was coincidentally the same button as WOLOLO in the above post.

The number 2 means to assign the Menu features to this button.

6,7,8 and 9 are the direction buttons.

1073741903:6,1073741904:7,1073741905:9,1073741906:8,

The other numbers match up to all the PSP keys.

so with
keybindings_sdl=1073742094:2,1073741903:6,1073741904:7,1073741905:9,1073741906:8

and using the touchscreen I have a very playable experience. Sometimes I accidentally press something but apart from that it is all good.
